Making The Most Of Your Web Presence

How important is online media? How important is print media? There may just be a growing battle between the two in the next decade or so. Revenues amongst the two grow closer as one increases and the other decreases. But, let's take a more important look at who's in need of either format of media.

For a small business with limited marketing dollars, what produces the best return on investment? I guess depends on what you sell. But, old markers used to be that if you weren't in the Yellow Pages, you needed to be. And that was irregardless of what market your company was in.

Consider this, the Yellow Pages of print are dying. Faster than you or me, or the person that sits next to you on a bus. Small business is evolving and so is it that small business marketing will change immensely. Positioning your company for the future, and it doesn't matter what your company deals with, will require solid Internet presence and marketing. Why? It's not only the new Yellow Pages, it's also the new television, new magazine, new local community newspapers, new local business and marketing portals/roledexes, and pretty much everything that exists in the corporeal world, does or will exist on the web.

Get there! And get on it FAST!
